New A-level Course Begins Today

Today thirty Lower Sixth girls begin our new A-level course with their AS modules covering ‘France in Revolution, 1774-1815’ and ‘Challenging British Dominance: The Loss of the American Colonies, 1754-83’.  This will be followed next year at A2 level by an examined module on ‘The Angevin Kings of England: British Monarchy, 1154-1216’ and a Historical Enquiry on an aspect of Russia, 1881-1991.  More details of the new A-level course can be found on page nine of the School’s Sixth Form Prospectus.  Good luck, girls!
